Terms of Service
Last updated: 19 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Clipper by the Dozen video-editing service at clipper.doalier.com and our mobile apps (the "Service"), operated by Clipper by the Dozen ("Clipper", "we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use the Service. You are responsible for your account credentials and for all activity under your account, and must keep your account information accurate.
Subscriptions, billing, and refunds
The Service offers free and paid plans. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through Stripe until cancelled, and by subscribing you authorise recurring charges. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period and you keep access until then. Except where required by law (including the Australian Consumer Law), fees are non-refundable. We may change plan features or pricing on reasonable notice. Usage limits (such as monthly render quotas) apply per plan.
Your content and licence
You retain ownership of the content you upload or import ("Your Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, transcribe, transcode, render, transmit, and display Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you, including publishing it to platforms you connect at your direction. This licence ends when you delete Your Content or your account, except for limited backups or where retention is legally required.
Third-party content and your responsibilities
The Service lets you import media from third-party sources (for example by pasting a YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram link) and upload your own footage. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have all rights, licences, and permissions necessary to use, edit, and publish any content you import or upload. You must not use the Service to import, process, or distribute content you are not authorised to use or that infringes any third party's intellectual-property, privacy, or other rights. We grant no rights to third-party content and may remove content or suspend accounts in response to infringement or violations.
Connected platforms and publishing
If you connect a third-party platform such as TikTok or Instagram, you authorise us to access that platform and to publish or schedule content on your behalf as you direct. Your use of each platform remains subject to that platform's own terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them. We are not responsible for the availability, decisions, or actions of third-party platforms.
Acceptable use
You agree not to: use the Service unlawfully or to create or distribute infringing, defamatory, deceptive, or harmful content; attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorised access to the Service; resell or misuse the Service; or violate any platform's terms when publishing through the Service.
Automated processing
The Service uses automated and AI-assisted processing (such as transcription, scene detection, captioning, and cropping). These features are provided on a best-effort basis and may contain errors; you are responsible for reviewing output before publishing.
Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and trademarks, is owned by Clipper and its licensors and protected by law. These Terms grant you only a limited right to use the Service and no other rights in our intellectual property.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any guarantee, right, or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or other law that cannot be excluded.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Clipper will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Where our liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to resupplying the Service or paying the cost of resupply. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in the 12 months before the claim.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold Clipper harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms or of any third-party rights or platform terms.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm or legal liability. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service and, where required, we will ask you to re-accept. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the Commonwealth of Australia.
